Philippe Leborne exhibition

Inspired since adolescence by his discovery of Rubens at the Louvre, the artist now creates oil paintings where each subject becomes a "bubble of reality." Isolated in vaporous and mystical spaces, his foregrounds seem to leap from the canvas to touch the viewer.
