Sainte-Maxime, like all villages in Provence, cultivates throughout the year, its traditions and festivals of the good old days that were often tied to seasonal cycles and fields works (television, naturally, didn’t exist neither did the internet).
Also, these holidays were the occasion for the village to gather, to feast and to forget the daily hassles.
