Charles Pierrugues has been a pastry chef since 1920, passing the torch from a father to his son.

A little pastry was invented by Fortuné Pierrugues in 1920 on the Sainte-Maxime harbor. These people have been the guardians of the manufacturing secret while adhering to traditions since they have passed down this knowledge from generation to generation.

Today's third generation of these producers of pleasure and delicacy is represented by Charles and his wife Sandra, who make "La Maximoise," a house specialty, white nougat, handcrafted candied oranges, and a line of chocolate without added sugar.

PASTRIES FREE OF GLUTEN
This establishment is also renowned for the excellence of its premium pastries with gluten-free options as well as for its unique and gourmet ice cream cups, which are produced completely with "homemade" ingredients.
