It is a villa, an apartment or a furnished studio, for the exclusive use of the tenant, offered for rent to a passing clientele who makes a stay there characterized by a rental by the day, the week or the month and which does not elect domicile there.
The objective of the classification of tourist accommodation is to enhance the competitiveness of the destination by contributing to the improvement of quality and commercial performance.

How do I make a Clearance Request?
If your property is located in the municipality of Sainte-Maxime, you can call on the Service Classement Meublés of the Sainte-Maxime Tourist Office, to have your property classified.
If your property is located outside the municipality of Sainte-Maxime, the quality service furnished will not be able to process your classification request.

What are the steps:
– the first step is to define the category (from 1 to 5 stars) in which you want to be classified. The service can help you determine your positioning according to the size, capacity and nature of your property.
– once the category is defined, the service carries out a control visit during which the compliance of a set of criteria for your accommodation is verified. This visit and the following procedure are for a fee, the cost is your responsibility. A visit certificate will be sent to you.
This visit certificate will attest to your classification, if your dwelling answers:
– at least 95% of the mandatory criteria
– a minimum of optional points according to the category defined,
– optional compensation points required if 100% of the mandatory criteria are not met.
