Olive in Provence

Local produce, sun-drenched gastronomy and the stalls of the local markets contribute to the Provençal art of living, between conviviality, sharing and meetings.

Discover all there is to know about the olive tree and its fruit at the Domaine de la Pierre Plantée. Overlooking the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the estate is now one of the largest plantations in the Var and offers you a guided tour of their olive grove.

During the visit, let yourself be lulled by the song of the cicadas, surprised by the breathtaking view and completely disoriented by the anecdotes and knowledge of Thierry, who is truly passionate about his job.

You will have the opportunity to learn many things about the method of harvesting and production of olive oil in Sainte-Maxime and in France.

This is also the opportunity to ask all the questions that come to mind! After a nice walk in the middle of the olive trees, immersed in the Massif des Maures, you will appreciate the tasting in the shop (depending on the number of people and the timing) and will be charmed by the diversity of local products on sale in the Domaine’s shop!

Tip: bring a hat, sun cream, sunglasses and a bottle of water for the visit!
