Plage de la Nartelle
Leisure ( Beach / Bathing Area )
East of Sainte-Maxime, La Nartelle beach is a long sandy beach ideal for children with an exceptional setting.
For magical moments to share with the family! Between laughter, sandcastles, delicious snacks, and a sunny break!
Numerous activities are available on-site for the whole family.
A great spot for windsurfing, surfing, and bodyboarding when the wind is from the east.
Two areas along the town's coastline are dog-friendly year-round:
The town center dog beach: this is a section of the town center beach located near the Préconil bridge;
The inland area of Pointe des Sardinaux (except in July and August): this natural site (Sensitive Natural Area) is a popular spot for dogs.
Dogs are prohibited year-round on the town center beaches (except for the aforementioned area), Oursins, Nartelle, Garonnette, and the southern tip of Pointe des Sardinaux.
Dogs must be kept on a leash and their waste must be picked up. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome on all beaches.
The lifeguard station will be open from June 12 to September 13, 2026. Opening hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM in June and September, and 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM in July and August.
