On stage, backed by his band—Eric Sauviat (guitar), Olivier Smith (bass), and Julien Boyé (drums)—he elegantly reinvents fifteen legendary Johnny Hallyday songs, never once parting with his signature instrument: the famous Hohner Marine Band harmonica! After all, the Warsaw-born French harmonica player—a musician as charismatic and acclaimed as he is sought-after by the artists he accompanies (Jean-Jacques Milteau, Florent Pagny, Francis Cabrel, Charles Aznavour, Maxime Le Forestier...)—shared Johnny Hallyday’s love for the blues and the harmonica. Here, the instrument becomes a voice in its own right, conversing with the guitars and vocals.
