Sainte-Maxime and the now legendary towns and villages of the Côte d’Azur owe their success to their remarkable diversity and richness, which have been captivating visitors from all over the world for over a century and a half!
Tasting a wine from Provence means savouring over 2,600 years of history. It all began when the Phocaeans founded Marseille and introduced to France a plant that would have a lasting impact on the Mediterranean landscape: the vine.
Since then, the expertise of the winegrowers and the richness of the Provençal terroirs have been passed down from generation to generation. Nestled between the Mediterranean and the Alps, the Provençal vineyards stretch for nearly 200 kilometres, mainly across the Var and Bouches-du-Rhône departments, as well as in the Alpes-Maritimes.
A living heritage, shaped by the sun, the mistral and the passion of the men and women who bring it to life. In Sainte-Maxime, this winemaking tradition lives on through two iconic estates, inviting visitors to discover exceptional wines amidst unspoilt Mediterranean landscapes.

Set off on this lovely walk in the hills above Sainte-Maxime! The reward for your efforts? A 360° view: from the Estérel Mountains to the Maures Mountains, taking in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. If the weather permits, you might even catch a glimpse of the Alps.
