Description
Following its remarkable production *Entre Chiens et louves*, Cirque Le Roux continues its exploration at the intersection of circus, physical theater, and visual composition.
Its new production, *Nature Morte*, evokes a world frozen in a certain bygone grandeur through a succession of scenes of strange beauty—filled with fascinating poetry and grace.
Each production by Cirque Le Roux is a journey blending poetry and acrobatics, powerful imagery and thrills. Once again, the troupe transports us to a theatrical space where emotion emerges from silences, voids, and the physical resistance of bodies stripped of sensationalism to make way for intimacy. Once again, its multidisciplinary approach manifests itself through constant reinvention: the finesse of a revitalized acrobatic style, a blend of dark humor and visual poetry, elegant movement, technical virtuosity, and an unapologetic fragility. The starting point for these living tableaux? A world losing its emotional bearings, where form takes precedence over sincerity. Where the adaptable set design draws inspiration from the films of Spike Jonze or Michel Gondry, framing the scenes like so many fragile moments. Here, Cirque Le Roux creates what it calls a “theater of almost nothing,” an experience that will remain etched in our memories.
