Officially founded in January 1968 to preserve the traditions of Provence and Sainte-Maxime through dance, music, song and the local language, the group ‘Lei Magnoti’ has, ever since, served as an ambassador for Sainte-Maxime and Provence.

Today, tomorrow, always 

The family spirit that drives the group to fly the flag for Provence and Sainte-Maxime takes its members on numerous trips, whether for cultural purposes or in response to invitations.

‘Lei Magnòti’ are members of the Mediterranean Folklore Federation and the Rode, which enables them to train (leading to qualifications) and to share and exchange ideas with their counterparts. The group includes qualified dancers (dance masters, 1st degree and 1st Master) as well as qualified musicians and instructors holding qualifications from the French Confederation of Folk Groups (recognised by the Ministry of Sport).
