Do you dream of sunshine and a seaside getaway? To the west of the town, this vast, unspoilt beach welcomes you to an exceptional natural setting. Whether you prefer fine sand or pebbles, there’s something for everyone here – the perfect spot to relax, go for a swim or simply enjoy the moment.

The charm of the Croisette

Loved for its family-friendly atmosphere and superb panoramic views over the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, La Croisette beach fully embodies the Mediterranean way of life. Thanks to recent improvements, it now offers an even more pleasant setting in which to enjoy the coastline.

Bathed by a generally calm sea, it features both a sandy beach and pebble areas, allowing everyone to find their ideal spot for swimming, relaxing or playing by the sea. Located just a few minutes from Sainte-Maxime town centre, it is particularly popular with families.

La Croisette appeals to locals and visitors alike, set within a well-preserved natural environment. Opposite the beach, the Jardin Botanique des Myrtes completes this exceptional setting, inviting visitors to enjoy a lovely stroll between the sea and nature.

 Lunch or dinner on the beach

On La Croisette beach, several seaside establishments invite you to savour every moment in a stunning setting. Between a swim and a spot of relaxation, enjoy these welcoming spots where Mediterranean flavours meet a seaside atmosphere.

Overlooking the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, these venues offer the ideal setting for a family lunch, a dinner as the sun sets, or simply a cocktail by the sea.

Located just a few minutes from Sainte-Maxime, La Croisette beach charms visitors with its pleasant atmosphere and relaxing setting, perfect for making the most of the coastline.

 Dogs allowed

Two areas along the town’s coastline are open to dogs all year round, namely:

  • the dog beach in the town centre: this is a section of the town centre beach situated opposite the Préconil bridge;
    the land area at Pointe des Sardinaux (except in July and August): this natural site (Sensitive Natural Area) is a meeting place for many dogs.
  • Owners must keep their dogs on a lead at all times and ensure they pick up after their pets, in order to maintain hygiene at these sites and ensure everyone can enjoy the area together. On the town centre beaches (with the exception of the area mentioned above), the Oursins, Nartelle, Garonnette beaches and the southern tip of Pointe des Sardinaux, dogs are prohibited all year round.

Guide dogs and assistance dogs, however, are permitted all year round on all beaches.

 An active break by the sea

Along the Croisette beach, a pleasant, well-maintained promenade invites you to take a leisurely stroll overlooking the sea. It is extended by a cycle path that leads directly to Saint-Tropez, offering an ideal route for exploring the coastline in a different way, amidst nature and exceptional views.

For lovers of outdoor activities, free-to-use fitness equipment has also been installed. This allows you to exercise whilst enjoying breathtaking views of the sea and the unique setting of La Croisette beach, just a stone’s throw from Sainte-Maxime.
