Nartelle Beach

Ajouter aux favoris

Located to the east of Sainte-Maxime, in the Var, it is a true haven of happiness for young and old alike. This exceptional place, which is both lively and peaceful, is a delight to explore and enjoy whatever the season.

Our beautiful Nartelle

In Sainte-Maxime, La Nartelle Beach is a true corner of paradise, where there’s something for everyone, whatever the season.

In winter, it’s the perfect place to unwind with lovely walks along the seafront, with your feet in the water, amidst soft light and ever-changing colours. Here, you can savour simple moments, lulled by the rhythm of the waves.

In summer, the beach comes alive and becomes a leisure destination for everyone: swimming, games in the sand, beach volleyball or water sports for the more active, whilst others simply soak up the sun.

It is also very popular for water sports: windsurfing, surfing and bodyboarding offer unique thrills here, particularly when the easterly wind picks up, making La Nartelle an unmissable spot on the Var coast.

 Lunch or dinner on the beach

On Nartelle Beach, there are plenty of beachside restaurants inviting you to savour every moment. Between a dip in the sea and culinary delights, enjoy these welcoming spots where great food and relaxation come together overlooking the sea.

With your feet in the sand and a view of the Mediterranean, these establishments offer the perfect setting for a family lunch, dinner at sunset or simply savouring a cocktail by the sea.

 Dogs allowed

Two areas along the town’s coastline are open to dogs all year round, namely:

  • the dog beach in the town centre: this is a section of the town centre beach situated opposite the Préconil bridge;
    the land area at Pointe des Sardinaux (except in July and August): this natural site (Sensitive Natural Area) is a meeting place for many dogs.
  • Owners must keep their dogs on a lead at all times and ensure they pick up after their pets, in order to maintain hygiene at these sites and ensure everyone can enjoy the area together. On the town centre beaches (with the exception of the area mentioned above), the Oursins, Nartelle, Garonnette beaches and the southern tip of Pointe des Sardinaux, dogs are prohibited all year round.

Guide dogs and assistance dogs, however, are permitted all year round on all beaches.
