3. Explore the historic centre
The heart of Sainte-Maxime boasts pretty narrow streets in a pedestrianised centre with its shaded little squares. The charming Tour Carrée, a symbol of the town’s history dating back to the 16th century, has now been converted into the Maison des Traditions, where guided tours are organised, and the iconic Préconil Bridge.
Strolling through the centre also means enjoying the shops, cafés with outdoor seating and the events organised throughout the year.
4. Discover the vineyards and olive groves
The hills of Sainte-Maxime are home to some wonderful spots for lovers of local produce.
Whether it’s a guided tour of a vineyard, a tasting of Provence rosé or a visit to an olive grove, you’ll have the chance to experience the authenticity and expertise of Sainte-Maxime.
