 Responsible print publishing

Our brochures and guides are no exception to our approach. We work exclusively with printers that hold the Imprim’Vert label and are ISO 14001-certified, which guarantees rigorous management of the environmental impacts associated with printing. The paper used is PEFC™-certified, sourced from sustainably managed forests, or 100% recycled, and the inks are plant-based.

We also ensure we print only what is needed: careful stock management and an annual review of quantities distributed enable us to adjust our print volumes each year and minimise waste. Our visitor advisors also encourage visitors to download our publications from our official website.

 A responsibly hosted website

Our website is hosted by a service provider committed to reducing its energy consumption, notably through the development of natural cooling systems and the complete elimination of air conditioning from its facilities. This choice is consistent with our values, right down to the behind-the-scenes aspects of our digital operations.

 Simple, everyday actions

Travel, energy, water, waste… we try to be mindful of every area of consumption. Business travel is planned carefully and shared wherever possible. On a day-to-day basis, we make sure to switch off equipment that is not in use, to limit our water consumption and to maintain a waste sorting policy on our premises.

Raise awareness, pass on knowledge, share

We believe that the best way to encourage responsible tourism is to help visitors discover the richness of the area they are exploring.

That is why the Tourist Office organises ‘Immersions’ throughout the year. These tours and walks, open to everyone, invite you to gain a deeper understanding of the uniqueness and diversity of our heritage, whether cultural, architectural, natural or gastronomic.
